These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of all Peko websites, software, tools, packages, documentation, and services. By using any Peko product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, downloading software, or otherwise using any Peko service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you are using the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Services

Peko provides PekoScript, the Peko CLI and compiler, Peko Studio, Peko Packages, Peko Docs, managed hosting for your application's server, app-store distribution including remote builds and store screenshots, and associated websites. Services are provided "as is" and may be updated or discontinued at any time.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Intellectual Property

PekoScript, the CLI, the compiler, the toolchain, Peko Studio, and the associated libraries are released under the MIT License: free to use for any purpose including commercially, and free to copy, modify, merge, distribute, sublicense, and sell. The hosted platform is proprietary and is not covered by that licence. Package authors retain ownership of their packages. Peko branding, documentation, and website content remain the property of Peko UI Technologies LLC.

5. Packages Registry

By uploading packages to the Peko Packages registry, you confirm that your packages do not infringe third-party rights, contain malicious code, or violate applicable law. Peko reserves the right to remove any package at any time.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Services for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the Services, reverse engineer any part of the Services except as permitted by law, transmit spam or malware, impersonate others, or scrape data without permission.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. PEKO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEKO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. PEKO'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS OR $100.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
